Welcome...we're lucky to have you!!!
To live content with small means...to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion...to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich...to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly...to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart...to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, never hurry...in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious...grow up through the common...this is to be my symphony.
---William Henry Channing
Note: Words to live by. This poignant quote touches me more now than when I used it in my first book, Frugal Luxuries, Bantam Books, NY, NY, in 1997.

Thank you very much! :)
I need to finish a biography that I didn't get to in May. Otherwise, I tend to go for very light reading in the summer months.
You are quite welcome dear Brenda! I pray you are feeling better and on the mend.
Love and good thoughts from,

Hi Tracey! Have you read Eat Pray Love, by Elizabeth Gilbert? That book really spoke to me, and I wonder if you wouldn't love it as much as I did.
If you haven't read it yet, read it quick before the movie comes out soon. The movies are never as good as the books :)
Congratulations to Brenda! Hope you are feeling better and enjoying your summer!
Thanks so much for the recommendation Ellen! No, I haven't read it but have heard some very good things about it. I'll have to swing over to amazon and put it on my list!
Warmly,
Tracey
