What is Your Life's Purpose?

I found this quote on www.ideaconnection.com and felt compelled to share it with you.
-----
Question: ....What is Your Purpose in Life?

....I think my purpose is to live, do the best with what I've got and to help take care of the people I love. We will do better if we take care of each other. More specifically, my goal is to protect those who are weaker than me, those who have less, to protect them and never to exploit them. Those who are stronger than me, especially those who abuse their power by directing it at people who are weaker than they are—my goal is to correct them. Correct above, protect below. That's my mantra.

I agree with you whole-heartedly regarding love...that old saying "God is Love" is overused because it's true. I hope you are having a blessed day as well. Mike took the day off and we just arrived home after spending the afternoon with his mom. Today is her 87th Birthday!! Thank you so much for your prayers...they are truly blessing my life...more than you know.

Oh My Goodness...Charmaine...Rosie LOVES the online clothing store you found! She is using some of her birthday money to make an order...and you should see what she's getting for UNDER $100! For those of you who are wondering, Charmaine found this amazing site http://www.shopruche.com that has really gorgeous clothes for realllllly affordable prices. For example, most of their absolutely charming, adorable dresses are offered for under $40. They really do look like they're from ANTHROPOLOGIE--a store we all LOVE. Thank you again for sharing this with us.
Blessings and good thoughts to youxox. Tracey

Dear Tracey,

I'm so glad that you came to visit my little online journal. Very nice to meet you. I'm glad that you enjoyed conversing about Louisa Mae Allcot's books. I love them all, including Little Men and Jo's Boys.

I'm so glad for the opportunity to read your blog as well. May I add it to my links list ~ By Lantern Light? I look forward to reading more of Frugal Luxuries.

Have a lovely evening.

oh my heavens, Tracey, i am so happy to hear that Rosie loves Ruche. they have the most adorable dresses. i would love to see what she is getting under a $100. i found another place i will post sometime this week. they're another affordable store with anthropologie flavor.they have really cute stuff. i was watching the Disney channel. they were throwing an Inaugural celebration for the kids. The Jonas Brothers are so cute! it was a really cute show. thank you so much for your sweet comments, they are always appreciated. i pray all is well.

God Bless,

All is well here...busy with many good and exciting activities/projects that I will share later (no time now). I can't wait to see the new store recommendation from you Charmaine!! Rosie is buying that amazing bag and two of the dresses you posted. I think one is technically a tunic top...but she plans to wear it like a dress, with her cream colored, really straight-leg jeans...the kind that look like leggings...she's so skinny and young...everything looks amazing on her...but then, I'm her mother and I may be biased...:). You know, we still get Disney channel (I really love their movies...I know...but Rosie still watches them with me...especially around the holidays;). I love that they're highlighting the inauguration...I am learning new stuff just watching too! I pray this finds you and your family well and happy. Thanks so much for your many kind comments.
God bless.

After more than a decade, FRUGAL LUXURIES has never been out of print and is now more relevant than ever.
