We all journeyed to downtown Los Angeles...
only to discover this most beautiful silk fabric...
for a song!
First...we went to Trader Joe's and found two dozen, small white roses for $5.99...
Using the magic hands of Katie... and a few bobby pins...
...Rosie had a fairy tale hair style.
The lace is a remnant from the trim on the dress.
Our beautiful Rose.
With corsage and boutonniere in place...
the young gentleman helps Rosie into her carriage...
as we wave them off to the ball!
----
The end.

Aaah! Weeping for the joys of youth!
How sweet...and she is beautiful!
hi Tracey! i'm sorry i didn't comment on your most recent post, but i got to scrolling down and was almost knocked out of my chair. oh my gosh, Rosie looks stunning! she is just absolutely BEAUTIFUL! she looks so much like you, the beautiful eyes, her cheeks and smile. what a gorgeous girl. i thought her vintage influenced prom dress and her hair looked amazing! i love the roses in her hair. your daughter Katie did a beautiful job. what amazing talent she has. Rosie reminds me of a young Brooke Shields. i know she had a ball. she looked so lady like and elegant. what a talented family.
how was your Memorial Day celebration? ours was nice, we went to the beach. it was really relaxing. i pray all is well with you and your lovely family.
just to let you know, i wrote a post earlier and it seemed to erase my comment. if you see a comment from me twice, just pick one, they're almost the same.
talk to you soon my friend!
God Bless,
Charmaine

A HUGE thank you to each of you for the many kind words regarding our Rose! Our sweet Katie really did a fabulous job with the entire ensemble (just to give her due credit)! She designed and sewed the dress... and was Rosie's stylist!! Thanks again my kind friends. God Bless!
Warmly,
Tracey
