Welcome...we're lucky to have you!!!
To live content with small means...to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion...to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich...to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly...to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart...to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, never hurry...in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious...grow up through the common...this is to be my symphony.
---William Henry Channing
Note: Words to live by. This poignant quote touches me more now than when I used it in my first book, Frugal Luxuries, Bantam Books, NY, NY, in 1997.

hi Tracey my lovely and beautiful best blogging friend! :) i miss you! i got all of your always encouraging post. thank you for always saying such kind words. you have such a beautiful spirit. how is every thing going? how is that beautiful family of yours. we're doing good this way besides it being so hot. i know my electric bill will be kind of high. it usually is by the end of the summer. i just might start sleeping outside under the stars. we have this little visitor, Mr. skunk, so that won't be allowed. i think he's really cute. he doesn't bother us because we just let him be. other than being very hot, i've been enjoying the summer. although, i can't wait for the Fall my favorite time of year. i love what your friend Cindy did. right after i finish with this post i will visit her blog. oh, i was wondering, did you enjoy the wedding video i posted. was that not the most funniest video you have ever seen? i thought it was too cute. i needed that laugh, i think my stomach gained a little muscle. well, i'll be talking to you soon my good friend. oh, i forgot, you know i always keep you and your family in my prayers.
God Bless,
Charmaine
