Hi Tracey, hope you are having a great weekend! The temperatures are very HOT and humid here. We've had such a cool summer and then all of a sudden the heat hits us. What a timely list you have. I love eating outside, it seems like a picnic everytime. It's just so nice to be out in the 'elements', breeze blowing, sunshine, hearing the birds chirping. We have alot of cold salads, potato, pasta and such, cold meat, watermelon and cantaloupe are a favourite here for dessert. The good thing about these too is they are all great snacks and the fridge door always seems to be swinging open in the summer. Enjoy your day! Heather

hi Tracey my BEAUTIFUL friend! how are you and your lovely family? i pray all is well with you all. how has your summer been so far? my family and i are really trying to keep cool. thanks to your article i have some great ideas. i have always loved frozen grapes and melons. yummy? we've been eating a lot of sandwiches, trying to save on the gas. it's way too hot to cook over a stove. guess what, i've lost 16 pounds. i walk every morning for 40 minutes, that's monday through friday, and on saturday i walk for 1 hour and i do aerobics 5 days a week. i feel so much better. i had to pray for discipline. in case you didn't know already i'm a big cookie monster and i love anything sweet. so it's been shocking but since i've laid off of sweets my weight has been dropping. so what i do now when i'm craving is eat 100% fruit bars or have a piece of dark chocolate and this works. i also have one cheat day a week but i never get out of hand. so, please let me know, what have you and your lovely girls been doing? i know you have been creating all kinds of wonderful things. that's what i love about you so much, your beautiful spirit and your amazing creativity. although i have been loving the summer, i can not wait for the fall, it is my favorite time of year. i've been keeping you and your family in my prayers. i hope that you will have a beautiful and blessed week my friend. i wish you and your family all the best and much success. keep inspiring us with your amazing gifts.

God Bless,
Charmaine

What great ideas! Running through the sprinkler is probably one of my favorite summer childhood memories! I'm going to try the frozen grapes! :)
