Taking Time For Reflection

~~~~~~~~
Last Sunday our family received some very sad and unexpected news. My oldest brother suffered a heart attack and did not survive it.
Our family has been gathered all week to comfort, mourn and honor his memory. Yesterday we laid him to rest.
If I may...I would like to ask you to please say a prayer and think good thoughts for the repose of his soul and the comfort of his family (he left a wife and two teen~aged twins). We would appreciate it very much.
In the mean time, I'd like to remind everyone to give a hug and say "I love you" to your own beloveds.
Blessings, thanks and good thoughts from...
Tracey.
Dear Tracey,
I am happy to add you, your family, your brother's family to my prayer list. I so well understand how losing a brother at a young age affects a family. We do not expect to experience these losses in our early mid-years.
I am so so sorry for your loss. What a terrible thing to endure. I hope that as you struggle through this difficult time you take comfort in those around you and know that there are some of us out here, that may have never met you in person but are thinking of you and sending good thoughts your way.
I wanted to say thank you because I bought your books for inspiration and to help impose some order in my own life after a death around Thanksgiving. I've felt so grateful for the comfort-so that is why I wanted to say thank-you. I also wish I could give you a hug over the miles-I'm sorry for your loss. I will pray for your family, too. Tracey,
Today is the first time I've visited your blog-found you via 'The Frugal Missus.' Tomorrow is my oldest brother's 62nd birthday, and I know how saddened I would be to lose him. So, please accept my heartfelt condolences to you, and your family, and my prayers for your spiritual recovery.
My dear kind souls and kindred spirits...I cannot tell you what a comfort your good thoughts, kind words and prayers have been...are...to me and my family.
To each of you please know I am so very grateful and extend my love and appreciation for your kinship. I once read that when people gather during times of grief the grief is dispursed throughout. Thus, relieving, somewhat, those carrying the heaviest part of the burden. Thank you so much for helping to lessen my load of grief.
With gratitude, love and thanks from,
Tracey and Family.
I'm so sorry, Tracey.
I am so sorry to hear this. I too have been dealing with a loved one's health and he will not be with us much longer.
Please know that we share a similar burden so I can say this and know you understand.
Though they are not here in person, we have been blessed to have them in our lives and will feel their presence deeply for the remainder of our days until we are reunited.
