Ooh, this looks like a fun broadcast, Tracey. I don't know if I'll be able to listen, but I'll try.
I love the photos.
Oh, thank you so much Lorrie! I appreciate the kind words and I know you all will be with us in spirit if not on the phone. :)))

Hello there...And did you make me say "oooohh!" a dozen times or so! Gorgeous, gorgeous. I especially love the tulle and glass brooch packages.
LOL...thank you so much Terri! Those are just gifts I packaged in old hat boxes we have had for a dozen years...and a vintage floral pillow case found at a yard sale (I just slipped a plain box inside). The tulle is from a huge roll I bought on sale years ago (just one dollar and I'm still using it!). All soooo easy...and the brooches are just a few of the far too large collection of vintage costume jewelry the girls and I have collected over the years!
Love to you my friend!

those photos are stunning, you wouldn't want to open some of those presents as the wrapping is just beautiful.

So funny Gill!!! You are so right...I've often considered just putting pretty (empty) presents out and reusing them from year to year as ornaments. Lack of storage space is the problem...oh yes...and disappointed children might be a negative factor as well. ;)))

Oh Clarice, thank you! I am very well but under a super deadline for a future project that's not ready to talk about yet (more soon if all works out as planned :)))!

How did you make those gorgeous bow/package decorations? Is there a pattern for them anywhere?
Thank you for the nice thoughts (i.e. thinking I might be capable of such loveliness;) but I didn't make those bow package decorations. This post is an inspiration mix~and~match using my own photos and projects that I long ago posted onto Pinterest~~like the tulle & rhinestone packages~~along with ideas that others discovered and posted onto Pinterest (such as the bows you asked about). As for making the bows...the outer two look fairly easy. They remind me of over~sized yo~yo quilt pieces made from a satin fabric. I was going to try making my own version by cutting a circle about the size of a dinner plate...basting the outer edges... then gathering it together thus creating the yo~yo~~then attach to the brown paper bags with glue, ribbon or string!!! Please let us know if you make them...we'd love to see your finished pictures!
Warmly,
Tracey

That first picture with the classy/simple trees amongst a sea of white furniture and decor... simply lovely. Not a look I'll go for with a two-year-old in house, but beautiful just the same. :)
Hi Christy! Yes...these photos are inspirational...although regarding white...I've always used white with my kids even when they were little. Why? You can bleach white! I pretty much use peroxide or bleach on most of the washable surfaces in my house because they are white or light enough that the color won't be affected. Hope you're having a wonderful Thanksgiving!
